Why do people take pictures of their food at restaurants?!
Question: I was eating at the Cheesecake Factory and found it hilarious when the two ladies sitting next to us took out their cameras and started taking photos of their food before eating it. After they left, the people who sat down also took photos of their food.
I don't get it?

I don't think it's just food. I think digital cameras have created monsters. everyone has one and just trigger happy.
I guess they want to remember it later. LOL.
Maybe they want to remember what made their butts get bigger
Tourists do that.

I do that sometimes. I guess because sometimes what you get looks artsy. Like this one I took:

The other reason is because photography can be fun. Also some people like to put it in their blog.
they could have been comparing to other resteraunts around there they might have been food critics
Me and 3 other people went to a restruant and took pics of our dessert..then after we ate it..

haha...really? I've only taken a picture of my food once....I was really excited that I had just gotten a camera lol
