Yes, all the time! I'm quite a snob actually, and if I see parents buying nothing but crap for their kids, not a fruit or veg in sight, I feel like going up to them and telling them so....but obviously I never would!

Absolutely - and not sneakily.
It's hardly a matter of State Secrets.
It would of course be rude to stare - as if one was an Inspector of some sort - or watching as if others are suspected shoplifters.
But then I chat a lot in supermarkets - like "How did you find where they'd moved the dumplings to?" and "Golly - I hope you've left some for me".
Most people are happy to respond.
yes, especially if i see any of the girls from slimming world, i want to see if they are putting anything naughty in their shopping basket.
