Usually I take care of myself. I remember the first time I met my BF was at a party and there were these guys saying they were stronger, faster and smarter than me. I tackled them and beat them up:) I also have bigger muscles than my BFF (4 years of gymnastics helps) but if he feels like he needs to, i'd let him.
Sure, if we're in that kind of situation. I can take care of myself though, if I have to.

It depends on the situation. In most cases, I prefer to take care of myself. But if a 250 lb guy wants to throw me up against the wall and my boyfriend wanted to step in, I wouldn't hold it against him.

I would have to protect myself. My husband wouldn't move a finger. He says it's my fault and I have to fix the problem on my own. I just think he's a whimp....
he better...he knows that I have to feel secure whenever we are together. he doesn't even let me walk on the side of the curb when we are outside walking!
