they can see the colors if they are deaf.
I would point at my mouth and say "red" and then point to red. Then I would point to my mouth and say "blue" and then point to blue.

Just show him one red and one blue book outright, unless he is blind, surely he can distinguish between them.
Deaf people know the difference between all colours......unless they are blind as well.
My sister is deaf and she understands the difference for herself. If I want to explain her the difference between two things I use sign language but she's not stupid and usually knows what I mean before I finish explaining it.

by showing him both the colors on a placard and writing the name of the color beneath it......
and if you are asking this because you are teaching someone who is deaf..... then you are not fit for this job.....
as i dont know sign language, i would go into a shop buy one red pen, one blue, then draw with the red one and write this is the colour red, then do the same with the blue pen.
They are deaf not blind so I wouldn't have to....I would just pointand hold up signs that say red and blue.....
