Paid surveys?!
Question: So I have heard of paid surveys where you are supposed to get paid for taking surveys but I'm kinda skeptical. Has anyone here done this before? How does it work? Which sites are known to pay and are not scams? Do they actually pay you? How much?

I signed up to a few but the only one that has paid out was Emailcash. But I have been with them for a long time. You need to reach 3300 points to be able to get a $30.00 cheque from them. It is a $30.00 cheque but 300 points to get it drawn up. You receive points for logging on everyday, then points for answering a quick survey, and you can on line shop which gets you more points and you can also play games. It is ok but takes a long time to get there. :)
I think they are all scams

the only others ive heard about you have to pay to sign up, which sounds inherently dodgy to me -_-

it's a scam. you have to buy whatever they're surveying. or you do a survey and have to buy something at the end in order to get the money. pointless.
The overwhelming majority of them are scams. First, there are series of links within links that will take you from one survey to another until you finally give up. Or, second, the big payoff turns out to be X dollars worth of their advertisers coupons. Finally, by the time your done - congratulations! You've just downloaded 50 gigs worth of spy-ware.
I wouldn't recommend it.
