Well this question has potential to open up a large can of worms. Suffice to say I am not happy how the native Americans were treated and are still treated to this day. We can not change the past, but we can change our now.
As to the wars that were fought with the natives that were here before the white men came, they also fought ugly wars among themselves as well. They killed off who tribes or nations, raped women, made slaves, etc. The wars of conquest are a sad fact of nature of which your people were also part of. The stronger ones always win.

It's closer to a full scale invasion than terrorism. It's not like the colonists were hiding. Also it started before 1492 in the americas when the Erikssons started moving in around 1000 AD. The reason vikings are not credited with discovering america is because their progress was all destroyed when the indians drove them back and their adventures were lost to obscurity for hundreds of years, vikings not being sociable people and keeping no written records.
Who are your people?Trust me I love all people but history has divided ideas on who was where when. The Americas were formed and reformed the same way hundreds of other countries have been formed in history. And even the indians fought for land amongst the tribes. So its best to hope theres no more greed and no more war, that all people can live together,no matter what race or religious belief.
