Question: If you were to go to a Dr. and ask for an abortion and he said he will on one condition and then took you to another room with a baby in a crib,puts a sharp knife in your hand and says "I will perform the abortion if you kill this baby."

umm im not ok with abortion but i dont believe i have the right to tell a women what to with her own body, and neither do you.

The argument is whether or not the fetus is a person, so your gruesome example is not relevant. If the fetus is a person then it does not require the mother to live. It is just a hunk of cells; fertilization does not mean the cells suddenly have souls or conscious thought.
