Did anyone get any snow last Saturday?!

Question: I woke up last Saturday and I mean snow was just coming down, and it was sticking to the ground. I couldn't believe it. I know that the "deep south" was supposed to get a winter storm or something like that, but in Mississippi? Mississippi doesn't ever get any snow as far as I know. Louisiana doesn't even get any, at least where I'm from. So my sister came over with her camera phone and we went out into it. We've never had snow before, so we couldn't miss the opportunity. We even had enough for a snowball fight. Of course, it may not ever happen again down here...........lol

I was just south of Jackson in Star and we had enough to build a snowman! And I'm not talkin about a little bitty one... this was about 5' tall! They said Star had the most snow in the Metro area. This was the first snow since New Year's Eve 2000-New Year's Day 2001.
