To hear a "bugle blow" means one senses the nearness of one's own demise.

I thought that it was an instrument...

''he's the boogie woogie bugle boy of company b''

it is an instrument. Have you ever heard of people playing Taps? This is the instrument you hear

I used to play it in the scouts.

It's a brass musical instrument.

No I have not

A bugle is a horn instrument. You blow into it. A tuba is a horn insturment, but WAY larger and a bit different. A trombone is also a horn instrument. Thanks for the compliment on my knowledge by the way. : )
What other usless but interesting facts would you like to know?
Bengal Cats have spots and have actual Asian Leopard heritage. My cats great great grandfather was an Asian Leopard.

a horn

The chips are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better!

A bugle is one of the simplest brass instruments; it is essentially a small natural horn with no valves.

only on TV.

A bugle is a horn without keys (that would be present on a trumpet). The tones are achieved through controlling embouchure.

yes, it's like a trumpet but smaller
