Polka is the happiest dance. Everyone seems to be having a wonderful time.
I love to watch & it looks so very simple but when I got on the floor I just could not get my feet to do what my head so badly wanted to.
There is nothing boring about this music.
My Mother could have told me what lederhosen was but I'm afraid I havn't a clue.~~
Thanks for the memories of my parents winning the Polka Contest when I was a child. ~~~~~~~
Thank you very much for the 10 and explanation. When younger,hubby & I went to SPJST in Houston,Tx.USA to dance & many polka bands played a mixture there. I loved it. Report It

    Not with lederhosen? (What is it?) But our whole school for Middle School did. It was both fun and embarrassing.
    Please...don't remind me! I actually did, years ago. A friend from Germany brought them to a party and I put it on and danced.
