Nothing ... my company is horrible.
In fact, we have a so-called 'tuition reimbursement program' for any classes that you take related to your position, and my boss told me: 'We can't afford to do that right now." ????

If it is in the policy and procedures manual, you need to follow it, lady !!!! Helllo....! Policies are not optional !!! ??? WTH ????
I hate my company!

To go to a seminar to learn about a computer program that we didn't even own. Once I arrived at the seminar the speaker got on to so many tangents that the time slipped away and I left not knowing anymore than I did when I got there. The rest of the time spent on the trip, I walked around a mall, slept and ate in a fancy restaurant. I traveled with my boss and he paid for everything...I had it made. He was a little upset that my seminar was not all that informative. As it turns out, we later bought the program I went to learn...2 years later.
