I know. My partner is getting a bit down at the moment job hunting......

it isnt! look harder and stop being so picky

The bloody (harder working..) Poles have invaded!..

Because they all got outsourced.

I don't think it is. People are too fussy, they're not prepared to take on a crappy job until the job they're really after comes along.

There are jobs available. You just have to lower your standards and take what you can get.

Its not its just people are too picky and not desperate enough to do any job.

i no iv bein tryin for a while wish one wud land on my lap

Because everybody else wants to deliver pizzas, too!

Pols do it for nothing!

The economy sucks, especially if you want a job that pays over minimum wage, god forbid actually supporting a family!

coz ur not Polish !

Because the economy sucks balls for people who don't have a college degree of any kind, but it also sucks for degree holders in some places too, overall, the economy sucks while our so called great leaders give our jobs away to worthless foreign countries and worth less illegal immigrants.

Because there are so many people that go for each job then the employer will pick the very best for each job some fall by the wayside because they are the older generation despite all that knowledge they hold.

The Crack and Meth markets are flooded.

I have a job right now, but when I didn't have one...I felt the same way as you! It's like you're auditioning for a movie role or something...it's a JOB! As long as you don't mess around all the time then you should get the job.

Many companies ,such as slazenger, closed their uk works and transferred the work into the^^ bowl of rice`^ areas.High wages and production costs being the excuse. Many more immigrants these days who are prepared to do your job for half what you get, need i say more.

ask johny foriener! they seem to get most

Never had that problem myself.
With all the crappy jobs out there
that no one else wants,
I have always managed to stay employed.

Plenty of work for the willing.

I am now self employed
using the skills from those jobs
to earn above minimum wages.
