Sometimes both, but mostly I clean up after the teenagers! But, sometimes when they want money they'll offer to clean up after me..
Funny how money motivates a teenager!
Depends i am very fortunate and have a husband that is a major clean freak and does most of the cleaning but when i make super or whatever then i grab his plate and bring it to the kitchen at the same time i take my plate out.

I dont make much mess on my own but as soon as the family get in its 'lets make a mess' time
I often wonder what would happen if i didnt go around clearing up-expect they would notice when they ran out of plates and they just couldnt get anything else in the bin!
Ive got a rota for chores but no one ever seems to understand that if you dont make a mess in the first place its so much easier!

If you clean up after someone else then it stands to reason that you would probably clean up after yourself as well.
In a household there are usually designated roles as to who does what and so forth. I happen to be this cleaning person, but it's fine by me.
