I don't think I've ever taken revenge, at least not consciously. But I have taken steps to limit my contact with someone who hurt me. Mostly by intentionally not inviting them to something.

yup... but i m the victim in the end...

    yeah, i do that often
i always give people the 'tit for tat' treatment

Yes but thanks be to Our Father God Yahweh and his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. I now know better and try not to do it any moor.

Not yet, but I'm working on it.

yes. once, a long time ago a visitor came to stay with me. He was a friend of a friend and I was asked to put him up (more like put up with him) for a bit. He stayed 2 weeks.

Aside from the costs he incurred for food and such that he promised to reimburse but never did, I received a shockingly enormous telephone bill the following month loaded with long-distance calls.

Needless to say I was furious.

About a year later, he showed up suddenly and unexpectedly, and acted like nothing had happened, but of course he was smart enough to not ask to stay with me again.

Instead, he asked me to drive him about to some important appointments and that he would compemnsate me thoroughly - I was sure he wouldn't, but felt it best to be on-hand anyway, just to see what would happen. So I did.

In the course of his dealing and travels, it was clear that he was becoming more and more intoxicated, and by the time he was finished, he was done in.

I tried asking for some cash to make the costs, but he was useless and impossible to manage, so I got him out of the car and over to the hotel desk, and figured that he was their problem now, and that I'd made a mistake to do this..

I returned to the car, and as I began to leave, I saw something on the floor...it was a wad of cash - nearly a grand!

I wondered about returning it for about a half a moment, and decided that this was both my reimbursement AND my compensation, and I drove off - smiling all the way home.

The following day, he called, frantically asking about his wad, and being vague and evasive, I sympathized about his loss.

I never heard from him again. And I don't regret it for a moment.

Many many times,,the last had to move from the town he lived in because of his actions,,,ha ha ha ,,,,

    yes...many times...where to start...
