DVD buying over downloading what do you think?!

Question: picture yourself buying a dvd from walmart, taking it home, and trying to put it on your ipod.

no picture yourself getting pissed because you cant put it on your ipod even know you own it

now picture yourself taking the movie back, coming home, and downloading the same movie ilegaly putting it on your ipod and watching it

whats wrong with this? the person getting the movie ilegaly is getting more out of the movie than the person buying the movie legaly from a store

I think they are retarded by limiting the buyer and encouraging the ilegal downloading of movies tv episodes and music
what do yall think? agree/disagree?

I agree 100%. Legally putting The Godfather on my iPod would kick @ss, but alas, I cannot.

um. if you really like the movie, buying it will show support - every sale counts.

I fully agree!

how about you buy the movie so you can watch it on a dvd player and then download it illegally so you can watch it on your ipod that way, you wont feel guilty and you get it on both mediums and still support the movie industry so they can continue to make movies. it's a win win solution.
people use your resoning as an excuse for downloading (me included) and they need to be more responsible, if noone pays for movies, then eventually they will stop making them.

i buy or rent all of my dvds i really dont like looking at a little screen i would rather watch a movie on a TV or on my computer

You need DVD Shrink. Then you can buy it and put in on your iPod. Problem solved.

I DO NOT think we should steal period. For many years I purchased cd's, dvd's. I no longer buy them nor do I download. The industry needs to take a different prospective and change the way they do business. They need to look at the way entertainment is delivered and pay the performers and subsequent labor less. How many of us go to work for just a few years and then retire? Why should they be any different. Why should the price I pay entitle someone with royalties? Lower the prices and have them stop stealing from us and more people would have no problem paying them what it is really worth.

Add comercials to all and every form of entertainment and give the stuff away......lol

iPod only supports videos in mp4, H2.64 video format. If not, you may try some third party software. There are some free video converters for iPod, such as Videora, SUPER. They are free, but always do the work without the good performce. Nowadays, there are so many similar not free ipod converteres in the market. You should try your best to choose the best one. I recommend Cucusoft DVD to iPod Video Suite to convert DVD movie and convert videos in any format to iPod. It is the fastest converter I have used. You can download this software free from here

Also, here is the step by step guide about converting DVD, Videos, Flash and Youtube videos to iPod video. It works great.
