I've always wondered. What would happen if you unknowingly submit an answer !
Question: & you coincidentally submitted your answer @ the same time the asker resolved the question? What kind of message would you get? Has this happened to you before?

I answered one of your questions once (long time ago) and as I pressed submit and went back to your question, it said resolved and you had chosen best answer. My answer did not even show up; we must have been on at the exact same time.
there was a time I answered a q and then like a minute later I got best answer from that. It was so weird! It happens. But I tried one time to answer one too and it said it was in voting and wouldn't let me answer.
The same thing that happened to Patti C, happened to me earlier this week!
people are confused when i do it
I would guess you'd get the 2 points just like any other time you answer a question before the asker picks a Best Answer.
