below eighteen. Because at age eighteen you are judged old enough by most states and churches to know what you want. Below eighteen you may just have a sudden urge and in a week be sorry you did it and want a divorce.
I think its different for every person. It really depends on your level of maturity, and what your goals are. Obviously children should not marry, because they are too young to really know what they want. There is nothing wrong with an 18 year old getting married IF they can truly handle it. Marriage is not to be taken lightly, it is a huge commitment.

However, I suggest you wait until after pre-school to get married to your diaper-wetting sweetheart.
If you are old enough to be on your own and can take care of yourself financially then you may be old enough to get married.

You need to experience the world a little first and see what life has to offer.
And, keep in mind, that your brain is not even done developing till about 24 or 25...so I'd consider marriages before then to be impulsive and emotionally driven.
