Question: I did,,, my oldest son went home and told his dad I was starving him. when he was at my house,,, my RULE is I don't run a restaraunt,,, what i put on the table to eat is what you get!
the day he was here,,, he didn't want waffles for breakfast... I said wait till lunch then,,,,lunch came and he didn't want grilled cheese and tomato soup. dinner came.... and din't want meat loaf..... so I said go hungry......later that night he wanted a sandwich ,, i said ok,,, he could make it,,, he said NO YOU DO IT! i said no. so he went hungry....the next day I HAD C.P>S. at my door asking me why i was not feeding my children!!!! they showed up at 5:00 p.m. as we sat down to an awsome chicken dinner with all the fixings at our table..... has anyone ever did this to you? AND MY EX knows DAM well i don't starve my kids. by the way my SON IS 13 years old,, perfectly capable of making a sandwich!

i have had this happen to me also. i was so furrious and worried i couldn't sleep. they came and walked around the house and it was completely spotless and the lady told me there was clearly nothing to worry about, but i couldn't help but worry. i thought my husband was kidding when he said CPS is here babe. It was our upstairs nieghbor who hates us because we always see her "customers" go upstairs. I would never do that to anyone, no matter how much i hated them, unless their child was in danger.
First of all, your ex should know better than that and so should your son. Secondly that is what's wrong in today's society... CPS goes after the good parents and not the bad ones who deserve it.
Aww I am sorry, my mom would have done the exact same thing and one day when I have kids, that is going to be the rule in my house, I am not going to fix a different dinner for each person, they either like it or they don't and they can deal. Just ignore your Ex...he obviously is a bitter man.
No. I haven't and it sounds like your ex is spoiling the kid rotten. Have a good long talk with your son and make him realize you are the boss, not him. Good for you for showing tough love, and I'm sorry CPS was called into the matter.
My sister got CPS called on her don't really remember what for i know it was her daughter's teacher who called.
Yeah, my kid's teacher called them on me because he wore
the same clothes to school three days in a row.
U did the right thing. I would have got worst from my mum but then i would not dare to treat her in such a disrespectful manner. Your ex is a ***** and your son is playing you both. Don't worry about this, please put it behind u. Your clearly a great mother and now CPS know this. They have to be seen to be investigating allegations. When allegations turn up unfounded they leave u alone. Its awful to experience. Maybe u can look at it like God sent u a warning to let u know how far this man will go.
It didn't happen to me, but it happened to my neighbor, her 14 year old twins love fast food, they rarely eat home-cooked food even though she's a great cook. One afternoon they came home from school demanding that she take them out for pizza, she told them no because dinner was ready, they both raced into kitchen dumped all of the food into the trash can, got on the phone and told their paternal grandparents that their mother is evil and that she's punishing them by starvation and that SHE was the one who dumped the food and that they're starving. These kids were lying because I saw them dumping the food with my very own eyes. Anyway, their grandparents took them over to their house and sure enough the very next day, ACS showed up at her door. Their father now has full custody.
