No. It really doesn't mean anything to me.

No one with my family name knows me. I haven't seen any of them in over 10 years.

Yes, because we are Norwegians, descendants of the Vikings.

I am not proud of my family name, because it is just a name. You can always change a last name.

Yes!!! B/C we make gold out of straw, bet you can't do that ;)

Yes it is a really great one.

Yes. Because it's an old Scottish name. There was a castle (now it's in ruins) that has my family name on it. Plus many people with my family name have had famous portraits done or have done big things like war heros or invented something. I'm proud of my family and my ancestors.

Toooooooooooooo many jokes w/ the name, so no; I don't have a problem with it, but I'm not proud of it.

Of course...............I am Italian! My parents and grandparents were strong willed and self sufficient. I was taught many good lessons in life and I particularly was close to my Grandma who was strong in every way and yet so loving and giving. Besides....no one else could cook like my Grandma! Munga!!
There were some boxers in the family and I took boxing even though I am now 59. I still love it. Yea...there were some Mafioso but my Dad was a page for them and it didn't affect me but is good to know that one call to South Philly can be of use! lol
My grandfather from Italy was a tailor for famous people like Frank Sinatra. My grandmother was a seamstress and could make anything. She made everything homemade including all the pasta! My Mom's side has royalty in her family . Nothing was ever given to them . They earned in from the time they came over on the boat to Ellis Island. We have singers in the family and members of the Detroit Symphony orchestra. My Dad was a WWII highly decorated Vet and highly decorated from the Korean War. He has the Silver Star and so many more medals and awards. I am so proud of him and miss him dearly.

Yes, my surname is a Scottish one (which makes since seeing as I'm Scottish) and I'm damn proud to be Scottish!
