Is it true that if you are born black, you are born guilty?!
Question: A copper was charged with assaulting a man here not so long ago and all 12 jurors agreed that the copper had done it. But they let the copper walk free after finding the man guilty of being black.
This man is a university graduate with a degree, he was sitting on a park bench waiting for his wife to finish work so they could go home together. The police picked him up and charged him with loitering, when he tried to explain to the police that he was waiting for his wife he was beaten up for 'resisting'.
the arguement used by 11 of the jurors is that 'all blacks' are drunks, don't bathe and generally lower the value of your property if they live in your area. the 12th Juror after 6 hours of being hounded by the 11 other jurors felt she had no choice but to go along with them so they could all go home to bed.
I said to this 12th juror, who's a friend of mine, it wasn't up to you to change their minds, it was up to you to not change yours.

When I first read your question I got really mad. I was so mad I wasn't sure how I was going to answer. Upon reading what was behind the question I feel a little different. I feel you wanted to get people's attention. It worked you got mine. The 12th juror should not have changed her mind for the benefits of the others. I know I wouldn't have, I would have stood my ground. Your race does not make you guilty or innocent for that matter.

This does happen, not only racially, but with religious prejudice also. It is all gross, gross, gross.

Why won't folks think for themselves instead of going by stereotypes, stigmas, hearsay, prejudice, their fear and pride???
