Who has been to Universal Studios in either Orlando or Hollywood?!
Question: What did you think? Was it as cool as you expected?
I am planning a vacation..and we went to Disneyland last year...want to go go somewhere new and super fun.

I am an annual pass holder at both Disney & Universal.
At this stage of life, with 2 daughters 7 & 10, Universal is the better bet.
Disney is more for the younger kids.
Also, there is a major advantage to Universal. If you stay at one of the 3 on site hotels, your hotel room key becomes an automatic "fast pass" & you can walk on to most rides. With Disneys fast pass, it is pre-scheduled & has a time limit, which sucks if you have small kids.
It's all about the universal, baby!
ps. Best hotel there is Hard Rock!
I went to Universal...It was great. Just dress comfy and wear comfy tennis shoes lots of walking
I went to the one in orlando I think, or maybe it was MGM studio theme park. all theme parks are the same crap anyway. stupid roller coasters, tons of walking, overpriced food, no shade from the heat, and shows with people dressed up as characters
went to the one in florida many years ago. I hated it. over crowded and not that many attractions. But I'm not a huge park person and I hate huge crowds and long lines. I did love disney world though. And Busch Gardens is my favorite.

I really enjoyed it when I was there. There is a
main attraction and it was about Miami Vice. Really
cool. I went to the one in Hollywood.
Universal studios, is great, just let your imagination run wild, and you'll see some really neat stuff. Enjoy!
