What's everyone doing for Martin Luther King Jr's birthday?!

Question: Are you going to a march in your town? Having a cookout? I'm probably going to the march.

Sending a thank you card to the parents of James Earl Ray.

let me see he took Gandhi's message and delivered it in America. For that he gets a day? Not worth the effort to honor him. Honor Gandhi instead.

Just another work day here.

I have a white candle with wire running through it to devide off the years. It's decorated with white pearls and wrapped in white silk trimmed with white satin. It's called a 'grief candle' and my mother gave it to me when Martin Luther King Jr. was killed. Every year I burn one year off it on his birthday. So that's what I did yesterday. The candle lasts for 50 years. After I burned it, I rewraped it and put it back in my china cabinet. It was lovely. I have one for RFK and JFK. I wish they still made them.
