Poll: Has anyone ever spit on you? How did you respond?!
Question: I work at a Residental Treatment Center. Kid jail if you will. In my 7+ years of working in this area I have been spit on 4 times. Each time I wiped it off and processed wtih the youth. It was tough but in each case the situation helped the youth. Tell me your story!

Well I was just a kid. My friend spit on me. Not really sure why. I went and kicked that kid's butt! Lol. Naw I'm just kidding. I just wiped it off.

In your situation, you did the professional thing and it ended up working out. As for me however, when someone spat on me (a long time ago that is), I spat back or, grabbed the offender and wiped it on their shirt!
this 10 year old girl spit on me because she thought i was being mean to her, she had really pointy ears and looked like a lawn gonme.

Yes, My estranged Husband!! A long time ago, like 6 years ago!! I cried, I was so hurt and still am because I could not believe he would stoop so low, and I thought he respected me more than that!!!

Growing up when involved in arguments all the kids in wythenshawe, manchester, UK seemed to think spitting was at others was a way of 'standing your ground' etc. and threatining others. All I did was bust their nose or give 'em a black eye and let them live with the shame of being beat by a girl lol - the things that kids are impressed/ashamed with.
By the way, I do admire the wy you can just simply wipe it off, I honesty wouldn't have the self control and strength to from me from giving the kids a good-hiding!

One 8 year old boy spit on me EVERYDAY!!! And once a 7 year old girl did!
I did the same - I wiped it off and continued as if nothing happened!!
