Answers: Please don't report me I am so so so so sorry if someone out there did not like the comedy!!!

you seem a tad nervous ice queen, whats been going on ?? I always enjoyed watching that show,it was a cleverly done bit of comedy /farce,it compares with --open all hours--the two ronnies --get some in ---porridge-- and --last of the summer wine.Top class tv entertainment and clean humour.

yea-loved leonard rossiter and richard beckinsale

hahaha. yeah i liked it aint seen it in a while though

It was brilliant

misssssssssss jones-it was awesome

Oh Miss Jones, I loved Rising Damp.

I can't see why anyone would be offended by your question...I thought Rigsby & Miss Jones were brilliant in their day - & I liked Reginald Perrin too!

great stuff

but have we got to apologise for everything we say in case the thought police violate us?

i loved it no humour is aloud like that anymore its
a shame.!!

Why are you sorry? I used to love Leonard Rossiter in it..

i think all 1970's comedies were great
nothing to match them these days

Rising damp was brilliant. Leonard Rossiter's performance as the unctuous landlord was one of the most underrated comedy turns in TV history. Great stuff.

yess miss jones i loved it

That's just disgusting and violates all standards know to man. will report you forthwith and stalk you mercilessly.

*winks*

irony, people..IRONY! sheesh.

Yes it was good,,,,pity,,,Leonard Rossitor,,passed away in hes prime,,,,i liked the squeaky cushion best,,,,

Rising Damp was one of our best comedy tv programmes,
still enjoy the repeats when they come on.and hey you dont need to worry or be sorry to anyone, your in good company with the all of us who answered your question, those who did'nt like it have no sense of humour,

I liked it it was down to earth and comical.Rigsby was a great character and very funny.

classic! Leonard Rossiter was an absolute perfectionist and workaholic I believe. I seen a documentary last year perhaps, with his wife and daughter talking about him and his career.

brilliant series.
don`t let things get you down ,enjoy the site there are alot of good caring people on here

Brilliant my friend, and still watch the repeats whenever i can.

I've never seen that here in the US, but it sounds really funny by all of your answers. I have a very good sense of humor and of course I won't report you. I'm not some young little kid with a grudge against the world. I have noticed an awful lot of thumbs down on a lot of q's I went to over the last couple of days. Some one just is a meany. They were pretty good answers too. It's happening all over the place. One friend has to go off for awhile because of them. And I'll probably get one for this answer. Oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles.
