only frezzing rain here triad of NC
yes it does and i thought you was talking about sex because you said i got 4 inches last night you need to be specific about what you
That is pretty funny. I grew up in International Falls, MN and 4" is a joke. I'll admit, I am a horrible driver. But, when some people drive like idiots in the snow, they make me look like a pro.
no snow here in pa, they do tell us when the roads are bad, but some people just don't listen and drive anyway.
well here we got 2" im maxton North Carolina but it rained and melted it so i dont know wut has happened on the roads b/c im gettin ready 4 skool.
You are in NC, and they are not used to snow, so it comes more as a shock. When I lived in VA, we had that problem. But now I live in OH, and a foot of snow or more is not a big deal. The road crews are better equipped to handle it, and drivers are accustomed to the weather. So the issue is not only the roads, but the drivers. Stay home if you can. Call it a Snow Day.
i live in tennesse and yes our news stations do.
but here tennesseans tend to freak out if there is a chance of snow flurries. there was a chance last night and it did snow some. but they were already salting the interstates at like 9:30-10 AM, but i guess to be better safe than sorry.
Ya got that right. Up here in NY State, 4 inches of snow is NOTHING! They don't close the schools unless there's 24 inches of snow.
A friend of mine told me once that in Tennessee (where he moved to) that the whole town shuts down if there is just a few inches.
Yes, the stations are always telling people when the weather conditions are bad. Tornado warnings, flash flood warnings snow and ice storms, etc. Some people won't heed the warnings though.
I got a big zero....72 degrees at nite...lol
My friend lives in Selma, N.C., is that near you, if so I guess she got snow, I'm in R.I. and its just plain cold out their.
We had 12 inches up in WI one time, and they got on the radio and tv and said if you only drive a car, DO NOT LEAVE the house, you will be stranded. There are some pretty remote areas up there.
Cool for you. We haven't had much snow to talk of in NJ. Snow here can be a mess. We don't react well to adverse road conditions either. The media does well to advise abotu the roads but the road crews take their bloody time to do anything. Oh well.
Lucky you. I'm in Atlanta and it started to snow really bad yesterday but then we had rain that got rid of it. I'm at work!!!!
This city was under winter advisory......I'm from Ohio, I drive in anything.
It's OK - global warming will soon melt your snow.
Drive safe.
I am is Salisbury NC. We got snow to but now its just raining.
