true, as "borg" is my witness. I have heard not once but twice that partcially it was because the other half showed them how to make a bed. i believe the quote was "i didn't even know how to make a bed until she/he came along. twice!!

I was fresh out of the Army, already engaged to somebody I
met whilst in the Army and a bit naive, then I met the Woman that I married.
I was busy at work when a voice with a soft Irish accent asked me a question. When I turned to look at them, I found myself looking at the largest deep brown eyes that I had ever seen.
It was instant chemistry, we were different religions (Important in those days.) she was on the verge of becoming
engaged and I pushed my luck and put the pressure on.
On our first date we agreed that we would get married and
18months later we did so.
We have now been married for over 52years and the highlight of my day is still our evening meal, when we have a chance to drink a little wine and talk.
I do believe that live doesn't have much more to offer than this.
