What Is Your Opinion Of The Hollywood Writers' Strike?!
Question: As usual, totally bogus; believe me, they make more than enough money and this is just another in a long series of negotiating tactics; why they are unable to work these issues out in a civilized manner behind closed doors is behind me...just more spoiled brat Hollywood behavior.
I was at a party years ago in the 1970s, and met a soap opera writer who was making, back then, 35,000.00 a WEEK.

I think it totally blows. Some of my favorite shows are never coming back because of it and it makes me extremely sad.
I miss my shows!

After seeing the glut of reality TV and the few shows with scab writers 9and the ratings for these shows) I am convinced that Americans will watch anything.
Including myself.
Sadly, our need to be entertained by anything...anything at all will sink the very deserving union writers.
Their pay can't be that bad. There are people out there who would LOVE to have their job! They're probably making enough money to be rich, but still aren't happy.

its a good thing, for too long Hollywood has bullied their employees, Hollywood is getting what it deserves for making crap films. Hollywood don't care about films just the colour of money!!!
I think they are screwing up...last strike there was no internet..this strike there is...I think they may have a hard time getting viewers back...
End soon tired of reruns & reality shows ?
