I believe she is. Not because of any of the sightings in Scotland, but because in a little lake, about the same size, in Northern Ontario, Canada, the skull of something like Nessie was found well over a hundred years ago. It's been all over the world, researched and what not and no one knows what it is. It's nothing more than a small town legend now but it's fun to believe in things like that.

no there was a study done on the fish life in Loch Ness and it found it could not support such a large creature, because it wouldn't just be one it would have to be a family of them. Also many sitings could just be very old and large sturgeons
