In order for one to make the bed, shouldn't one get OUT of the bed first? I have not left the bed yet. It is 1:30pm and I am still in my jammies.

Yes like I do every morning. My mom made us make our beds growing up and I do it always. I prefer it that way actually. The covers are all set. It looks neat and orderly. It takes less than a couple of minutes to do. I usually make the bed while I'm still in bed. I just straighten up a little after I get out. My husband chuckles at me. It works.
