Hi, I understand how you eel as I have had someone break in twice whilst I was in the house- and I don't really live in a bad area.
YOU do feel violated and the feeling will last for some time but don't let it get to you otherwise you will feel very frightened in your own home and that isn't good for your mental health.
I have had to put it down to very bad luck.
I hope you feel better soon.

hope ure ok that has happened in my house aswell, you dunt feel like anything is ures anymore, go and see the docter cos ure proberly in shock phyiscally and mentally, and make sure that you contacted the police even if they didint take anythink it still against the law. GD luck

I have been through the same thing a while ago & can relate to how you're feeling.I felt myself looking at neighbours & people in the street wondering if it was them.It's really un nerving.I felt unclean & wanted to go through the house wiping everything that they might have touched.I now have a full house alarm which covers the doors and windows.I feel much safer now.

If this is true I would feel the same way , My sister woke up in the niggle of the night to find a strange man in her living room , she screamed and he left but yea violated and scared is what she felt as well, she called the police and they caught the guy 2 blocks away.
I HATE When my bf does that to me, Yes, very violating in deed, hope it don't happen again any time soon!
