i pay my brothers usually lol. They live a few blocks away and my dad is cheap and my step-mom is ugh....they get no money so i say i want them to come visit and they shovel it and i take them to the store and buy them something so their mother doesnt take their money. My oldest brother kept having me put his money back last week i got him a ps2 with 2 games....money works.I use to shovel snow as a kid so im keeping the tradition alive!

If I had a driveway, I'd probably pay a kid to do it, assuming I'm not horrible broke from my mortgage payments.

Or I'd buy a snow blower and do it myself. No way I'd regularly shovel a huge driveway by myself.

I do it myself, and love it! But I'm in south Texas so not much opportunity for any shoveling anymore.

If we had snow it would be a miracle! I suppose our kids would want to do it. Infact they would have no choice as we live out in the stix and don't have any neighbours!!

i would pay someone. I would pay someone to do the lawn too in the summer. yardwork sucks, I hated it when I was a kid

yeah sure ... pay him... nothin better than lettin a kid make some money... teaches him the value of a dollar... you were there before...

yup id pay the kid lol...ps.their is a lot of snow in MA its a blizzard!!!!!!!public schools are closed...!

The kids are too lazy and their parents give them whatever they want. Why would they want to shovel my driveway? Anyway, nobody ever offers, or I would pay them. I used to do shoveling and lawn mowing to save up money to buy presents for Christmas and birthdays. The boy next door drives a better car than I have and he is only 16.

I'd Pay the kid. I mean really... what's your free time worth

I haven't seen snow in 4 years.. since I moved to CA

Cost benefit analysis:

Is the money paid worth your time and effort? If it saves you time in the morning so you're not late for work, definitely worth it.

It also depends on if you can get a kid that works for a reasonable amount and does a good job.

So my answer is: depends.

Say what? I just walk over and get in my car...there is that pesky dew on the windows though...lol...The Sunshine State

I would pay the kid down the street. I used to do it when I was in grade school it was a good way to earn money. This way if you have some health problems you won't end up in the hospital with a possible MI.

SNOWBLOWER MAN!!!

I do it myself. My dog Daisy supervises. We have a great time!!
