no, dogs are lots of work, feeding, cleaning up poop, walking, shedding, have to wipe their feet when wet or muddy, need to trim their to nails every once in a while, smelly, need to pay for them to be kept somewhere when you go away, the mess up the floor sometime, they chew things and furniture, they bark, the jump up at people
no, because they usually chew up everything and my neighbors dog barking at all hours, ticks me off enough. and i have enough to do without having to feed something and pick up poo.

i dont know where all of these people are getting their dogs.
but my dogs dont do anything but sleep and eat all day.
i put food in their bowls in the morning and they go and eat when they want. they dont shed.
my neighbor is a pet sitter and im a babysitter so i babysit her kids for free if she keeps my dogs for free when we are away. soi guess it all works out.

Yes. We would like to get a Dachshund, but a) we can't afford one right now, and b) our cat would hate us! Someday we will, though.
