I would keep driving by, wouldn't give it a second thought. Because i know someone else would drive by and call the police anyway .

i have seen a dead body in the road, and i had no choice but to walk slowly by it and investigate as i continued down the street...pretty creepy. 4 words- only in new york.
I would stop, position my car so that the body would not be struck by oncoming cars, phone the police, and wait for them to arrive and take my statement. Oh, and unlike one of the other answerers, I wouldn't be worried about a trap. I'm always armed with at least one pistol. Usually a 16 shot .45 cal. pistol.
