No, but when I was 16 and on work experience at a TV company, my friend dropped a £10,000 television camera from the top of a 50 foot high gantry. Oops!

Hello Darling, I dropped my Mothers collectible vase, on the kitchen floor,It smashed in a million pieces. .
does a heart count
i don't remember i ever broke any valuable thing..in fact i have nothing which is light and valuable too.. yes, i now remeber i broke the screen of my laptop and that time it's cost was $ 2000. but i had another of same type.. so i made one out of two and the loss was not big.. In case of second, the processor was damaged due to excessive heating..
Since you exclude such things as a solemn promise - I'll confess to breaking an anniversary present elder daughter bought for my wife and me about 20 years ago. I arrived home in something less than a state of total sobriety - admired the specially marked figurine - and dropped it.
Fortunately it broke in 2 clean pieces and was repaired almost invisibly.
But I know it was one of my more infamous "slips" - and of course I can see the join that others can't.
Hope your Aunt takes a broad view of life's mishaps.
