Question: I was in a supermarket earlier today and I was scanning items into th self service till .. I began putting in my money..
as I dont do this often, I was a little slow.
This middle aged man behind me said 'what, are you emptying your piggy bank' in a sarcastic, arrogant way.
I just smiled and walked off after.

yes that was rude. You should have dropped the coins and spent 5 min picking them up and cleaning them! lol then watched him turn purple! lol

i would've said "actually yes" and then slowed right down to get him madder. life's too short to do things quickly.

i hate shopping as it is but when people are like that is really makes me mad some people think they are the only people that matter and have no respect for anyone else its so ignorant

I detest supermarkets and I always think the worst comes out in people. Trolleys left blocking everyone else just because the person is having a deep and meaningful conversation with someone they hardly know. Other people’s children are running around as if it’s a playgroup. I shop online now..lol

I wouldnt have been annoyed. Me, i am always slow, never in a rush, so when i see someone being all pushy and in a hurry, i just laugh it off. You just do your thing and please dont let other people's behavior influence your mood.

I would have taken longer on purpose! I am disabled and am very slow at everything. I struggle while packing my shopping and a big queue can build up behind me. I see them shuffling and huffing, puffing and tutting, but when they see me trying to load my car in the Disabled space they look away. Its at times like that I would like to lose control of my trolley if you know what I mean *bang - whoops didn't see you there - sorry*
