Ever had your appendix or tonsils taken out?!
Question: My tonsils were taken out when I was five. I think that's why I scream so well. A lot of screamers in bands get their tonsils removed to make it easier to scream.

Yes to Tonsils as an adult it is probably one of the most painful things you can experience.
Tonsils yes and it was no fun. Had a hemeriage....
Had my tonsils out nearly ten years ago, back when I was 12.. best time of my life, two weeks off school, lots of ice cream and plenty of sympathy because I couldn't speak!
I had my tonsils out when I was 14 - they were so scarred from constant cases of tonsilitis they no longer went down any more

To the guy who said its one of the most painful experiences an adult can go through - Id say child birth but you will never feel that - just hope you dont have kidney stones - trust me they hurt like anything!
no actually, only i removed a tooth when i was a kid..
Still have 'em. Those tonsils keep pi$$in' me off, though, and they're gone in a New York minute.
i had my appendix out about a yr ago. It was no big deal,though i must say i was in more pain afterwards with this than when i had my baby via c section!

appendicitis was the most painful thing i have ever experienced in my life...
i tried to go to bed about 10:30 that nite cause i had a pain in my stomach.. normally when you go to sleep you are not in pain, etc...
by 3am i called 911 and had the ambulance come to my house... i wish i would have listened to them, because i would have sued them, and been rich, they told me it was just acid, take an antacid and not worry... but i insisted they take me to the hospital...
catscan proved appendicitis around 5am... could not eat/drink anything for 12 hours before the surgery.. so 5pm the following day they took it out...
2 days in the hospital recovery... and weeks of pain after surgery...
Stil have both but gall bladder was removed a few years ago.

The doctors tried to find my appendix when I had my gallbladder out and again when I had hysterectomy. It could not be found?! I will be teed off it I get appendicitis and they have to go searching for this illusive little appendage.
