I hate Verizon!!! they are over charging me big time and I cant get out of contract without paying a huge fee!! So to me its a curse, and NOW telemarketers are calling me too!! How on earth did they ever get cell phone numbers??

one would suppose that depends on how it is used or abused...lol
blessing it means my family can reach me in a emergency or if they need me to pick them up anything...
For me it has been a blessing! It allows me to keep in touch with my best friend forever!!
A curse. It's a way to have your parents-i.e. dad-call you 6 times every hour whenever you're out alone.

A blessing because it is handy to have in case of emergencies, accidents, etc.
A curse because people now tend to talk on cell phones incessantly instead of having face-to-face interactions. Also, some people are "lost" without their phone, like they never learned to be by themselves and enjoy the solitude; they have to be on a machine in order to feel connected to people. This "dependency" is inane.
Cons: Cell phones cause accidents, bullies may bully you with text and calls, when you have text messages you want nobody to read and someone reads them, pictures you want nobody to see and someone sees them, someone steals your cell to stalk you...
Pros: easier way to communicate with people, more reachable, fun....
