What is so funny about a fart?!


Question: So today was pay back time day. I once let a gas in front of my bosss and was so embarrased, but today he accidentally let one out too, it made me laugh uncontrolably. I COULD NOT STOP! You have no idea, how much I laughed, I laughed so much, my stomach hurt. So my boss said, well it is not funny, when nature calls you got to answer, that was it, I laughed even more. Anyway, I have now stoped laughing and only gigle every now and again thinking about it. But what is so funny about a fart? I mean it is nature, why is it we laugh when someone farts or feel embarassed when we do it? Isn't it just nature?

I think it is because the noise can be unexpected and vary varied in tone. Sometimes, due to discomfort, people may laugh even if it is inappropriate.

    B'cos he ur boss .someone who isnt ur circle of comfort to actually fart ... could be funny . its ur 1st time u heard a fart from him n u never expect it turns out to be like it is . so , it caught u off guard n thats why i can be funny . just imagine this > u met ur idol .. u r a big fan of him/her for many many yrs n u get to hang out with u idol for the whole day .u treat ur idol like someone really perfecto n to actually hear ur idol fart like any other human would be hilarious if the fart turns out to be something u wont be expecting . plus coming out from ur idol
