An article I read said only 1 in 6 people regularly wash their hands after using the restroom....and based on my experiences, I would say that is pretty accurate
Yes I do. I make my kids do the same as well. It is so nasty when people don't do it. The best thing to do is sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star while washing your hands. Be sure to scrub your palm and clean under your nails while doing this. Don't forget to rinse well and dry your hands.

Every time and I have actually said" Did you wash your hands" to perfect strangers as they are walking out the door in public restrooms! You should see the shocked looks I get. If they don't wash I come out and say loudly to my companion "They didn't wash their hands!" for others to hear. (Some day someone will probably smack me or something but I can't seem to help myself.) On occasion someone will thank me, say they forgot and wash. I don't touch public restroom door handles either. Hide some time in a public washroom and count the # of people. you will be surprised and will never want to shake hands with anyone ever again! I still do but I also carry a hand sanitizer solution and use it before I eat, etc. Sorry for the rant!
