I did in college also. I still remember the names for most of the parts. I liked dissecting it more than the other nasty things that we dissected such as the fetal pig and the crayfish. Those were disgusting.

i've felt one but i don't recall actually holding one. there was one stuck to a rock during a really really low tide at this one place in oregon and my cousin and i went out to explore, and there was a giant rock covered in starfish and little tidepools with sealife all over. so we felt the starfish.
oh wait! i've held a dead starfish.
