Are you serious? If so, God invented sex. It was intended for married people only.
It still is intended for married people only-but what do we do? We date, we have sex, we break up, we move on to the next person, and the next person, and the next. And then we finally settle down and get married. And then we bring all that crap of guys/girls hurting us, using us into our marriage.
we cant even have a sound minute with our spouses because of flashbacks to some person in our past.
And this is the reason why we were designed to be virgins (both men & women) before marraige.

Sex is natural instinct to reproduce, for some species, it's for pleasure, but for a lot of species it's just that, simply keep their species alive for as long as possible.
