yeah some of them go on forever and I never have the patience to read them...=-)
And I have tons of answers to people questions and haven't even gotten to savour the goodness of a best answer...

I don't know, I never really thought about it before. What if the long answer actually is the best answer for the question, not just some jackass trying to get best answer? Why do you think that everyone is just trying to get best answer? Do you give long answers to get best answer? Or are you just mad because you can't think of supporting information for you answer so you know that you won't get best answer because the person with the long answer is "obviously" more intelligent than you or else you'd have come up with a long point and counterpoint answer.
no. i choose best answer if the answer is not plagarized, by heart and brain, support of the opinion, and interests me. i mean, i don't know if all of this is important to you but to me this is what makes me choose the best answer for my questions every day. i don't really like choosing random answers as best answer because thats showing that you're un interested.
