When you ask a serious question on Y!A, don't you hate when people draw fals!

Question: Ex: I might say that my brother & I got into a verbal ARGUMENT. & then someone would jus create a special imagination & say, "He has every right to press charges on you for slapping him in the face." Like, where does THAT come from? I didn't even mention anything about physical violence!

No, people like to add bits on, so the story gets bigger, and more exciting. that's folk for you, lol.Love Jo xx

You mean you didn't know there was a "FILLINTHEGAPS" element on Answers?

It's kinda' inherent in this kind of presentation that you get miscues on the answers like you describe.

Sometimes, I see answers to things that while they are good enough answers, they don't fit the question. They either misread the question or don't clearly understand it (this happens to me sometimes) and answer it incorrectly.

It's important to present your question properly for dummies like me to comprehend the situation. Long drawn out questions some people off and they just move on to something else, short and simple.

No, but I see it from a different perspective, I see it as someone has a differing point of view to me, I have a open mind, that always helps. I like to think of it as there are always two sides to a coin, you may not like the outcome, but thats life... and an oportunity to learn..
