I feel that alot when I am trying to get my concerns across to the school about my son....in one ear and out the other. I usually just go over their heads and make someone HEAR and LISTEN...then finally results.
It doesn't bother me because I never have much to say anyway.

I usually wind up whatever I'm saying with a few "Blah blah blahs" just to see if they really are listening....
What I do next depends on what I was saying. If it was something of great importance, I whistle or snap my fingers in that person's face until they come back to reality.
If it's not important, I might keep up with the "blah blah blahs" or sing a song or change topic all together until they come back to me.
Depends on the situation. I think most people really don't value my opinion at all. At times I allow people to treat me like a possesion to be seen and not heard - arm candy you know?
but when I am p****d off- you are damn well gonna hear what I have to say. In the workplace I do keep it clean but only get heard when I have had enough..

I ask them if they heard what I said, then ask them to repeat it.
It'll catch them off guard.
