I want to ask for a raise?!

Question: I want to ask my boss for a raise. I started this company in august and we discussed my salary. In this conversation he said after 90 days we will discuss a raise. But of course it has been past 90 days. I do fear to ask because especially right now we are very slow and I get all of my days work done within the first hour or two and I basically sit around and wait for them to tell me what else to do, I am not lazy and I actually prefer to be busy I just don't want them to think that I am. How do I go about asking? What is the most respectable way?

Its been 90 days and you mentioned the potential for a salary increase. I would love a reveiw so you could tell me what I could be doing to allow me to grow my salary and career.

Just ask him. Be confident.

And if you ask for a rise its no surprise they're giving none away.

If the company is quiet i don`t think it`s the right time.

hello boss
if u noticed its been 90 days since my attendance
what do u think of a raise

Seems like the only time people get offered a raise or bonus is when they find another job and hand in their 2 weeks notice. Then they can "afford" to give them the raise. They don't care about helping you out any until they are afraid they will lose you.

jUST EXPLAIN TO YOUR BOSS THAT IT HAS BEEN 90 DAYS AND YOU WANT TO INQUIRE ABOUT A RAISE . Let your boss know what is going on with you at work and let him or her know that you know things are slow and if you can't get a raise right now, then when would be a good time to ask for one. He or she should know the type of work you do and should at least give you an evaluation.
