I've never personally come across a harp that has a metal frame, it would sound rather odd. That's not to say it'd sound bad, acoustic guitars can be made from metal. It'd be very heavy. Anyway, I shall now listen to Johanna Newsom, my favourite harp player, and pehaps one of my favourite people in the world.
