Question: i just got my new 4gb ipod nano 3rd gen today and have spent the whole day tryin to get songs on it. still no songs yet. i downloaded the newest version of itunes. then the itunes setup assistant comes up and say this: DOWNLOAD ALBUM ARTWORK iTunes can automatically download album artwork when you add songs to ur library. iTunes can also download album artwork for songs in your library that dont already have artwork. Downloading album artwork requires an iTunes Store Account. Go to the ITunes Store, sign in or create a new account, and then choose "Ger Album Artwork" from the advanced menu. Information about songs with missing artwork will be sent to apple. apple does not keep any info related to the contents of your music library. then at the bottom it says ok and cancel. when it first comes up its there but it wont let you click on ok. it doesnt highlight or anything. then after a few seconds the color of it fades like the top goes from dark blue to a lighter blue and i

well, i just got that too for christmas, what you do, is after you add the songs to your library on itunes, drag the song to your ipod

and then voila,

also check for updates on your ipod, and sync the songs on them. need anymore help, talk to me at kigalifanny@yahoo.com

throw it at a passing old lady

There are 3rd party sofwares that allow you to add songs to your iPod without using iTunes... There's a plug-in for WinAmp that does that...
