First, get all of the disgusting stuff off of it with a tissuue, then with a damp tissue. After it dries, put windex on a tissue and then wipe the screen.
It depends upon what it was that was spilled. A warm, soft damp cloth should do the trick. If what was spilled is greasy, then it should also have some mild dish soap on the cloth too.
A good quality paper towel like Viva and (a very mini amount)clear water/isopropyl alcohol or a wet ones travel wipe and follow with a viva. ?
