? What prompted you to pick the name that you use on Yahoo Answers?!
Question: It's a name I have always liked, and I have used it for other things over the years, so I thought I would stick with it. I am actually accustomed to people calling me Bron, even if it isn't the name on my birth certificate.
The original, years-ago selection of the name came from me wanting a name I liked and which was English, Welsh, Irish or Scottish. Bronwen is a Welsh name, and it is the feminine version of the name. (The male version, which means the same thing--white or fair breast, like a bird with a white chest--is Bronwyn. The male spelling is used quite often for females, as that's not a well-known fact.)

I had just watched the movie.
In another time and place a friend nick named Sunny (yes full name Sunshine - NOT the YA one) started calling me Jelly Bean so I just cut out the last bit - the Jelly is similar to my first name and also connects to my last. There were too many preferred Butterfly.. logons to register with Yahoo Mail so I went with the other. At first I was Poetgirls727 but I thought that too limiting. Jelly is sweet, colourful and friendly sounding just like me....
