The book (GO ASK ALICE) ?!
Question: who and what are they refering to as ANONYMOUS? on the cover.did her parents, find her diary, and have it published? also when it says where their are no dates on some of the pages, it says they were written on plain paper and paper bags, how did they find these? and what year did she die? i am assuming it was in the 70's. I'm just asking because this book really interested me.but there are things I would like answers to.thanks for any information.

It was a fiction book purporting to be an actual diary.
Like you pointed out, there is within the book itself, evidence that it is NOT an actual diary.
The person they are referring as Anonymous is Beatrice Sparks the editor She died in 1971 or so She probably found the bags or leaves or whatever on the street or something Hope this helps! :-)

Anonymous is the girl whose diary it was taken from. It was written by a ghost writer from a diary that was discovered in the girls belongings. Who exactly found it, I don't know, or if it is fiction or non-fiction, but it's a great book. I read it when I was in high school for a book report and was compelling at the time. I don't know how I would feel about it now. But it does tell of what can happen when you fall prey to certains situations, people and things.
